Le Iene are interested in the Steven Babbi case, a young member of the Siropack staff suffering from Ewing's Sarcoma whose salary is suspended by INPS after 6 months of absence from work, due to illness. Rocco De Lucia and Barbara Burioli decide to continue to pay Steven at their own expense, attracting the attention of the national media, including Le Iene who create an emotional service;

•2019: Siropack joins the Romagna Initiative Consortium
The new headquarters and the TAILOR research laboratory are inaugurated in the Bagnarola industrial area;
Siropack is awarded during the Milano Finanza Romagna Awards, an event organized by Class Editori in order to recognize the excellence of regional realities (companies, institutions and professionals), in the category "Corporate Social Responsibility" ;
at the Alzheimer Marathon, Rocco De Lucia and Barbara Burioli are among the promoters of the #CorriPulito project, promoted by Romagna Iniziative. The project has allowed to recover and recycle 100% of the plastic used by over 6,000 participants, but not only: through the application of a scientific model developed ad hoc by the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Bologna, for the first time in a sporting event it was possible to report the data relating to the quantity and type of plastic material recovered;
From an idea of Rocco De Lucia, the Plastic Waste Free project was born, which brings together the PET packaging supply chain to give concrete circularity from the polymer to the creation of the tray, its filling, sale, recovery, recycling to be worked again giving it a new life. The project, which involves important local realities under the coordination of the University of Bologna, also provides for the active participation of the final consumer, who will have the task of returning the container after the use;
